At The Second Life Shop, we carefully package and ship every item with care so your unique finds arrive safely and ready for their next chapter.
Because many of our products are one-of-a-kind, vintage, thrifted, or pre-loved items, we encourage customers to review all photos and descriptions carefully before purchasing.
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been successfully received.
Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email containing tracking information.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
We currently ship throughout the United States using trusted carriers such as USPS and UPS.
Estimated Shipping Times
- Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
- Expedited Shipping: 2–3 business days (if available)
- Priority Shipping: 1–2 business days (if available)
Please note that shipping timelines are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather conditions, holidays, or other circumstances outside our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Package weight and dimensions
- Delivery destination
- Selected shipping speed
Free shipping promotions may be offered periodically and are subject to change without notice.
Tracking Information
Once your package has shipped, tracking details will be emailed to the address provided during checkout.
Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking updates to appear in the carrier system.
Vintage & Pre-Loved Item Notice
Many items sold through The Second Life Shop are vintage, thrifted, handmade, secondhand, or previously loved. Minor signs of wear, aging, or imperfections may be present and are considered part of the item’s character and uniqueness.
We do our best to accurately photograph and describe all items before listing.
Incorrect Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the package is returned to us, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the order.
The Second Life Shop is not responsible for packages delivered to incorrectly submitted addresses.
Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages
Once a package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery delays are outside our control.
If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the item
- Photos of the packaging
- A brief description of the issue
We will work with the carrier to help resolve the matter whenever possible.
Local Pickup (Optional Section)
If local pickup is available, customers will receive pickup instructions after checkout confirmation.
Pickup orders must be collected within the designated pickup timeframe unless otherwise arranged.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the unique and often one-of-a-kind nature of our inventory, all sales may be considered final unless otherwise stated.
If returns or exchanges are accepted, items must be returned in original condition within the approved return window.
